About the role
The Desautels Faculty of Management is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the Financial Derivatives course (FINE 448) for the Fall term. This part‑time position supports the course instructor by assisting students and handling assessment tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Grade exams and assignments accurately and promptly.
- Hold regular office hours to assist students with course material.
- Collaborate with the course instructor on grading criteria and feedback.
Required profile
- Current McGill student who has successfully completed a derivatives or related finance course.
- Preferably prior teaching or tutoring experience at McGill, especially in derivatives or finance.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of financial derivatives concepts.
What we offer
- Hourly compensation of $37.34.
- Professional experience in a university teaching environment.
