Bancassurance Commercial Manager

About the role

The Bancassurance Commercial Manager will support the Head of Bancassurance & Wealth in shaping and executing the bank’s insurance and wealth strategy. The role focuses on driving insurance sales, managing product development, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations across the bank’s sales network.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve insurance income targets by product, coordinating with the sales network and tele‑sales agents.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior leadership.
• Monitor daily and monthly sales performance, communicate progress, and implement lead‑management processes including CRM integration and lead scoring.
• Lead product research, business case development, local testing, and implementation planning.
• Analyse competitor products and pricing, and produce monthly income analyses and sales initiatives.
• Provide support to branches and internal service teams on insurance matters, handling customer complaints and ensuring high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance or bancassurance sales management.
• Strong analytical abilities with a track record of meeting sales and budget targets.
• Excellent communication skills to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, from product development to implementation.
• Knowledge of relevant insurance legislation and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems and lead‑management processes.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting MIS and financial performance reports.
• Competence in product research, business case building, and competitive analysis.
