Experienced Registered Nurse – Medical

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients at Bokamoso Private Hospital. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, executing and supervising care to meet each patient’s needs while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Assess and monitor patient progress, detecting any sudden or subtle changes in condition.
• Provide care for acutely and chronically ill patients, often working long hours.
• Calculate and administer medication safely.
• Stay updated with current research and development activities within the organization.
• Uphold patient rights and deliver sensitive, respectful care.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an approved institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid practising licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Botswana.
• Computer literacy.
