Salesperson – Retail

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, result‑driven Salesperson to join our retail team. The role focuses on selling products, delivering excellent customer service, and building lasting relationships with shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sales activities to generate revenue.
• Achieve assigned sales budgets and targets.
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising.
• Process cash and credit transactions in line with company policy.
• Interact with customers in a customer‑centric manner, addressing their needs and recommending suitable products.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education with at least 12 months of retail sales experience.
• Team‑work orientation.
• Self‑motivation and drive.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Initiative, attention to detail, and emotional maturity.
• Personal resilience and confidence.

Required skills

• Basic retail knowledge.
• Extensive product knowledge across all categories.
• Understanding of sales and prospecting processes.
• Familiarity with business policies and procedures.
