Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions at the Toteng, JCHX Zone 5 site in Botswana. The role supports the efficient handling of materials and supplies that are critical to our mining and rock‑excavation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Account for all materials and supplies in the store facilities and audit incoming goods.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Prepare and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of goods and optimise warehouse space.
• Maintain operating procedures, space utilisation, and the upkeep of facilities and equipment.
• Develop and improve warehouse processes using Lean methodology to boost team performance.

Required profile

• Minimum BGCSE qualification; Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience in warehousing and inventory control, preferably in a mining environment.
• Valid Class B driver’s licence and a Forklift licence.
• Alignment with the company’s values and ability to work flexibly across Botswana.
