Administration Controller – Store Operations (45 hrs)

About the role

The Administration Controller will support the Store Manager in overseeing stock, cash, and administrative processes at the Markham – Airport Junction store. This role combines inventory control, risk management, and customer service to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with stock takes, store administration, and filing systems.
• Monitor and analyse stock movement, implement risk‑management procedures to reduce shrinkage.
• Extract and present store reports on turnover and stock performance.
• Control cash and transactional activities, ensuring compliance with processes.
• Process customer transactions using the POS system and promote loyalty programmes.
• Uphold safety, security, visual merchandising, and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with a minimum of three years retail or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Professional communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and administrative tasks.
