Aircraft Asset & Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail‑oriented Aircraft Asset & Maintenance Coordinator to support the airworthiness and operational readiness of our helicopter fleet in Maun. The role works closely with Operations and Engineering to plan maintenance, forecast utilisation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of aircraft hours, cycles, utilisation and assets.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and forecast upcoming maintenance requirements.
• Develop forward maintenance forecasts based on actual and projected flying hours.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance, inspections, component lives, overhauls and aircraft downtime with Operations and Engineering.
• Track technical records, regulatory approvals and expiry dates, including ADs, SBs and CAAB requirements.
• Maintain maintenance planning and asset management systems and produce regular reports on fleet utilisation and availability.
• Identify potential maintenance or compliance issues early and escalate as needed.
• Assist during CAAB inspections, audits and other regulatory activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance planning or fleet administration.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance terminology and planning principles.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and administrative abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret utilisation data and maintenance forecasts.
• Legal entitlement to work in Botswana.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data‑management capabilities.
