Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing and enriching backend‑focused datasets. In this role you will evaluate code samples, system designs and workflows, providing structured feedback that helps improve AI models that understand backend engineering concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that describe scalability, performance and reliability characteristics.
• Validate authentication implementations (OAuth, JWT, session management) and security best practices.
• Assess micro‑services, distributed and event‑driven designs for correctness and efficiency.
• Review database queries and data‑access patterns across SQL and NoSQL stores.
• Provide clear engineering reasoning and structured evaluation reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
