Business Analyst – Credit Risk Reporting

About the role

The Business Analyst will report to the Credit Risk Reporting Manager and lead the design and generation of business intelligence reports. This role provides analytical insight to support operational, tactical and strategic decisions across the credit department.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive analysis of portfolio performance data to assess past financial results and forecast trends for growth, retention and acquisition.
• Produce monthly and ad‑hoc portfolio management reports and translate data insights into credit department KPIs.
• Ensure data alignment and reconciliation between credit source systems, risk engines, finance and regulatory outputs (BCBS 239) for accurate reporting.
• Implement data quality controls to satisfy audit, model risk and regulatory requirements, including credit bureau data submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 2–3 years of experience in the banking industry with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to work with large, granular datasets and meet tight deadlines.
