Client Accounting Services Manager – Gaborone

About the role

The Client Accounting & Advisory Manager is a senior leadership position within Andersen Tax’s Client Accounting Services (CAS) Section in Gaborone. The role combines portfolio management, technical accounting delivery, and proactive advisory services for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of accounting, tax, and company secretarial clients as the primary point of contact.
• Prepare and review IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Provide proactive advisory services, including tax planning and process improvements.
• Champion adoption of Draftworx, QuickBooks Online, and other digital accounting tools.
• Oversee corporate tax filings and compliance.
• Facilitate client meetings to discuss financial performance and regulatory matters.
• Monitor internal KPIs such as turnaround times, workflow efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to firm‑wide CAS policies and operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• BICA membership.
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Botswana GAAP.
• Proven client relationship management skills.
• Prior experience in a professional services/accounting firm environment preferred.
