Computer Vision Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Computer Vision Annotator to label image and video data that will be used to train machine‑learning models. The role involves creating high‑quality annotations for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, pose estimation and 3‑D perception.

Key responsibilities

• Draw precise bounding boxes, polygons, polylines and 3‑D cuboids on visual data using tools such as CVAT, Label Studio or 3D Slicer.
• Place key points for pose or landmark detection and generate pixel‑level segmentation masks.
• Annotate point‑cloud and LiDAR data for autonomous‑vehicle or robotics applications.
• Interpret detailed labeling taxonomies, resolve ambiguous cases and provide feedback to improve annotation guidelines.
• Track performance metrics (throughput, precision, recall) and report edge cases or bias risks.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks like image resizing, format conversion and sensor synchronization.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in computer‑vision data annotation or quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with annotation platforms: CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, Supervisely, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Familiarity with computer‑vision concepts: object detection, image classification, segmentation, pose estimation, LiDAR and point‑cloud processing.
