Corporate Affairs & Public Relations Manager

About the role

Stanbic Bank Botswana is looking for a Corporate Affairs & Public Relations Manager to lead its Corporate Affairs, Reputation Management and Strategic Communications agenda. The role protects and enhances the Bank's reputation among customers, regulators, shareholders, employees, communities, media and other key stakeholders, and strengthens trust, advocacy and visibility while staying aligned with Standard Bank Group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated internal and external communication strategies
• Manage media and public relations, stakeholder engagement and executive communications
• Handle corporate social investment (CSI), crisis and issue management, and thought leadership initiatives
• Ensure alignment with Standard Bank Group standards and strategic objectives

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or Marketing
• 4-6 years of experience in integrated marketing, brand and marketing, including engaging at executive level to develop marketing plans
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, analytics platforms and the financial services industry
• 5-7 years of experience developing marketing campaigns and content across digital channels such as social media, email, content marketing and SEO/SEM, using data to measure performance
• Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines and work cross-functionally
