Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The captured videos will be used to train next‑generation artificial‑intelligence models and humanoid robots. Work is fully remote and you will be provided with head‑mounted equipment or can use your own compatible smartphone.

Key responsibilities

• Wear a head strap, smart glasses, or a smartphone mount to record your hands and objects while performing routine tasks.
• Capture raw POV video that follows strict technical specifications (stable lighting, landscape orientation, required resolution and frame rate).
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within the agreed timeframe.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips that do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a realistic residential or workspace environment where you can perform daily activities.
• Strong attention to detail to follow recording rules (hands visible, no mirrors or reflections, steady framing).
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces of other people, personal documents, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.

Required skills

• Use of a modern smartphone with a high‑quality camera (1080p at 30/60 FPS) or equivalent head‑mounted device.
