Entrenchment Banker

About the role

The Entrenchment Banker is responsible for executing personal banking entrenchment activities to reduce client attrition and enhance the overall client experience. The role combines outbound and virtual outreach to drive activation, onboarding, cross‑sell and retention of personal banking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute entrenchment activities across personal banking channels.
• Achieve defined KPIs such as activation, onboarding, cross‑sell and retention targets.
• Conduct outbound and virtual outreach to engage existing clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve client experience and reduce attrition.
• Collaborate with branch and contact‑centre teams to ensure consistent service delivery.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in personal or private banking, preferably in a branch or contact‑centre environment.
• Strong understanding of bank processes, policies and product portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets.
