Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will partner with the leadership team to model business scenarios, track performance metrics, evaluate new opportunities and manage the company’s financial responsibilities and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with business teams to establish project budgets and forecasts for short and long terms.
• Oversee balance sheet and P&L for various business units and produce monthly management accounts.
• Uncover and drive process improvement opportunities across the Finance team.
• Define and track critical success metrics and KPIs, building actionable reports and dashboards.
• Run regular in‑depth financial analysis to ensure accuracy and provide insights.
• Support the leadership team on strategy, roadmap, hiring decisions and market opportunities.
• Assist investor relations with key financial deliverables and ad‑hoc requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years of finance, accounting, audit or financial management experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA(BW), CPA or CFA.
• Current membership or eligibility with the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of AI, Power BI, Excel Macros and data analysis.
• Extensive experience in financial modeling.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage, SAP and Oracle EBS.
