Fixed‑Term Stock Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Stock Clerk for a fixed‑term contract in our fast‑paced retail environment. You will be responsible for handling merchandise flow in the stockroom while maintaining high accuracy and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch stock, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Secure merchandise and maintain an up‑to‑date stock file.
• Perform housekeeping and security tasks within the stockroom.
• Interact with customers in a courteous, customer‑centric manner.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and manage your own workload.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (or equivalent) education.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a stock clerk or in a similar role.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Understanding of receiving and dispatch processes and company policies.
• Integrity, deadline orientation and a drive for results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
