Income Audit Clerk

About the role

Belmond Safaris is seeking an Income Audit Clerk to ensure the accuracy of daily revenues and collections and to drive the recovery of overdue payments. You will work closely with finance and operations teams to maintain financial integrity and support the company’s luxury hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Verify daily revenue and collection figures for accuracy and alignment with supporting documentation.
• Follow up on overdue payments using multiple channels, prepare recovery reports and document actions taken.
• Assist internal and external auditors by responding to queries and providing required evidence.
• Review revenue adjustments and allowances, confirming validity, proper documentation, and correct authorisation.
• Ensure daily completeness of credit‑card refunds, payouts and voids in line with company policy.
• Reconcile ad‑hoc guest charges with supplier invoices and forward them to Accounts Payable for processing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar finance or audit role is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with a solid grasp of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records accurately.
• Excellent data‑entry skills and a natural aptitude for numbers.
