About the role
Cavista Technologies is seeking an IT Support Technician Intern to serve as the primary point of contact for customers via calls, emails, and chats. The role combines technical troubleshooting with strong customer service, offering a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where you can develop both technical and communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consistent, high‑quality technical support and customer service.
- Troubleshoot computer, peripheral, networking, and software issues remotely.
- Deliver efficient technical solutions and document detailed notes for each case.
- Meet and exceed targets for service levels, first‑call resolution, and sales support.
- Understand business customers' IT environments, including server and networking concepts.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, goal‑driven, and able to handle a high volume of contacts.
- Willingness to learn continuously and accept constructive feedback.
Required skills
- Computer networking fundamentals (routing, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP).
- Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
- Mobile operating systems: Android and iOS.
- VOIP phone systems.
- Malware removal processes.
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of peripherals (printers, scanners, webcams).
- Apple hardware and macOS knowledge.
