Legal Data Analyst – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Data Analyst to join our remote team and turn complex legal information into actionable insights. The role combines legal expertise with data analytics to support compliance, risk management and AI‑driven legal solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze litigation outcomes, regulatory filings, contract terms and other legal datasets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.
• Translate findings into insights for legal strategy, compliance and business decisions.
• Create and maintain high‑quality training data, craft prompts and evaluate outputs for large language models used in legal workflows.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools for stakeholders.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve legal processes and reduce operational risk.
• Support regulatory intelligence by mapping external data to internal models and ensuring data quality.
• Assist in implementing data governance, classification and retention policies for legal data assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal analysis, legal operations, compliance analytics or data analysis within a legal environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for querying large datasets.
• Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
