Marketing Coordinator – Social Media & Events

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support the development and execution of our restaurant’s marketing plan, focusing on social media, content creation, and promotional events. This position is ideal for a student passionate about food, hospitality, and digital marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing and social media strategy aligned with brand goals.
• Produce and schedule engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, including photos, videos, stories, and reels.
• Design marketing collateral like flyers, posters, digital ads, and newsletters in collaboration with graphic designers.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and in‑house promotional events (grand openings, seasonal specials, community activities).
• Monitor performance metrics, respond to customer comments and reviews, and adjust tactics based on data.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
• Build relationships with local influencers, food bloggers, and media outlets to increase visibility.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Strong organizational abilities and a creative mindset.
• Passion for food, hospitality, and engaging audiences online.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok).
• Experience using content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
