Mechanic I – After Sales

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic I to join our After Sales team in Maun. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles, ensuring they remain functional and reliable for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect engine, mechanical and electrical components to accurately diagnose issues.
• Examine vehicle electronic systems, perform repairs, maintenance and upgrades.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as component replacement and lubrication.
• Schedule future maintenance and provide accurate cost, time and effort estimates.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and complete job cards with detailed records.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Required profile

• National Craft Certificate (NCC) – Heavy Plant Mechanics.
• 3‑6 years of proven experience as a mechanic.
• Fluent spoken Setswana and English.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Commitment to safety procedures and good customer service.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components.
• Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to use a variety of tools and heavy equipment.
