Primary School Principal

About the role

Enko Botho, part of Enko Education’s pan‑African network, is looking for a visionary Primary School Principal to lead its primary campus in Botswana. The successful candidate will nurture a culture of curiosity, creativity and academic excellence while ensuring a safe, joyful learning environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive, arts‑integrated curriculum that supports holistic student development.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate teaching and support staff, fostering a collaborative professional culture.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of visual arts, music, drama and other creative programmes.
• Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes and address behavioural matters in line with school policies.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports for the Head of School and manage budget and resource allocation.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians and the wider community, promoting school events and arts exhibitions.
• Ensure compliance with national educational standards, policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in primary‑level education and school leadership.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, arts education and student assessment.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
