Remote 3D Modeler – Full-Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Remote 3D Modeler to transform 2D concepts into high‑quality 3D assets. You will collaborate with art directors, engineers, and designers to deliver immersive visual content for our global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build organic and hard‑surface 3D models from concept art, sketches, and reference material.
• Create realistic or stylized textures, UV maps, materials, and lighting to enhance visual appeal.
• Optimize models by reducing polygon counts while maintaining aesthetic quality for real‑time performance.
• Coordinate with design, animation, and engineering teams via Slack, Zoom, and project‑management tools.
• Iterate on models, textures, and renders based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain organized folder structures, clean UVs, and clear versioning on cloud servers.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both organic and hard‑surface work.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedule, and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
• Exceptional eye for form, scale, color, proportion, and spatial relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard 3D software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or ZBrush.
• Experience creating clean UV unwrapping and applying photorealistic texture maps.
• Knowledge of rendering techniques and real‑time optimization.
