Remote CMS Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom content management systems for a fully remote environment. You will translate design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• Develop custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch to extend platform functionality.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and perform performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, data protection, user authentication, backups, and regular software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Document clean code and technical details for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development focused on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate via project‑management tools.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design accuracy.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+)
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby
• Deep hands‑on experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento
