Remote Software Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer Annotator to help improve AI and Large Language Model training data. You will evaluate, label, and refine software engineering datasets, ensuring that AI‑generated code meets high standards of correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review code snippets, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks for AI training datasets.
• Validate AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, and security.
• Provide structured feedback and rankings for multiple AI‑generated responses.
• Maintain adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams to continuously improve model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with data annotation, AI training, or code review is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go.
• Ability to accurately annotate, label, and evaluate code datasets.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, backend systems, and web technologies.
• Experience with annotation platforms or labeling tools.
