Technician – Maintenance Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician to support the maintenance and optimisation of our technical systems. The role will focus on improving productivity and ensuring hardware and software components operate efficiently across our stores.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair IT hardware components.
• Perform software installations and updates.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and network problems.
• Support the implementation of productivity‑enhancing processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• COMPTIA A+ (Essentials and Core) certification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage stress, conflict and work autonomously.
• Understanding of company policies, vision and branch structure.

Required skills

• COMPTIA A+ certification.
• IT hardware repair.
• Software installation.
• Networking systems knowledge (advantageous).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
