Transactional Banker – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Transactional Banker will drive frontline client engagement to generate transactional sales, originate trade and working capital solutions, and cross‑sell within the RMB Corporate Banking segment. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets through a structured sales plan, deal origination, and ongoing client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an origination and sales plan to meet TXB revenue goals.
• Identify, structure, and close trade, treasury, and working‑capital deals.
• Manage the deal pipeline, assemble deal teams, and collaborate with product managers to package solutions.
• Price solutions competitively while ensuring profitability.
• Utilise MIS, activity, and pipeline data to drive growth and reporting.
• Analyse market dynamics, competitor offerings, and sector trends to uncover opportunities.
• Prepare credit reports, term sheets, and information memorandums.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal partners and act as the voice of the customer.

Required profile

• BCom, Business Information Systems or related business degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong understanding of TXB banking/payments, clearing, treasury, cash management, trade and working‑capital products.
• Experience in portfolio management and the full sales life‑cycle.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
