Workday Finance Consultant – Enterprise Applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to join our enterprise applications team. The role will support delivery, optimisation and continuous improvement of a large‑scale Workday Financial Management environment within a digitally transforming organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise across Workday Financial Management modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Projects and Financial Reporting.
• Configure, support and optimise Workday Financials solutions, handling incidents, service requests and system issues.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, facilitate workshops and translate them into functional designs and configuration specifications.
• Produce functional documentation, change requests and support testing activities (system, integration and UAT).
• Collaborate with technical teams, integration specialists and third‑party partners to manage releases, enhancements and transition to operational support.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Workday Financial Management implementation, configuration or support.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes and ERP/SaaS platforms.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis and functional design documentation.
• Familiarity with incident management, ITSM processes and Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
