12-Month Finance & Accounting Internship (Botswana)

About the role

This 12‑month internship provides hands‑on experience within Apex Fund Services South Africa divisions, supporting finance, accounting, investment and economics functions. Interns receive a monthly stipend and a fixed‑term contract, with the possibility to apply for permanent roles after successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations in the assigned department.
• Contribute to a culture of quality and excellence through risk awareness.
• Adhere to compliance standards and operational controls.
• Assist with analytical and numeracy‑focused tasks as required.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Investment or a related field.
• No prior work experience required.
• Strong numeracy, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Self‑initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team.
