Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships and expanding our customer base across domestic and international markets. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and trade activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify and pursue new customers, distributors, suppliers and strategic partners.
• Research market trends, consumer demand, competitors and potential new markets.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and commercial agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and business terms.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, sales and operations teams.
• Support import and export strategy development and execution.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline and revenue growth.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events and industry meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in business development, sales, international trade, import/export or a related commercial role.
• Experience in the consumer goods industry is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition, market development and commercial negotiations.
