About the role

Zihra, an international ATS‑focused CV writing firm, is looking for a Business Development Officer to join its team in Gaborone. This full‑time, hybrid position will drive new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and promote Zihra’s career‑development services.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential markets and corporate clients.
• Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and service demonstrations.
• Coordinate outreach campaigns and networking events.
• Track sales pipelines, analyse performance data and report insights to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or lead generation.
• Proven ability to develop new services for corporate clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially proposal writing and pitching.
• Strategic thinker with strong market research and trend analysis skills.
• Experience in training, HR, recruitment or professional services is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced use of Google Workspace.
• Ability to generate and report on sales pipeline metrics.
