Market Research Analyst & Interviewer (Contract, Botswana)

About the role

Euromonitor International is seeking a self‑employed Market Research Analyst & Interviewer to support short‑term fieldwork projects in Botswana. You will work remotely, conducting in‑depth interviews with industry decision‑makers and gathering primary and secondary data to deliver actionable business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, government officials and other key players along the value chain.
• Research and network to identify and secure contacts within the target industry.
• Visit retail locations to collect product information and engage with store staff.
• Review and extract data from secondary sources.
• Analyze quantitative data in Excel and qualitative insights.
• Test hypotheses and synthesize findings into clear reports.
• Prepare written reports and PowerPoint presentations in English.

Required profile

• Strong tenacity in information gathering and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build industry contacts.
• High numeracy and ability to interpret data.
• Fluency in English and the local language.
• Experience working on short‑term contracts or as a freelancer.
• Self‑motivated with strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
