Marketing & Communication Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support our business objectives and enhance brand visibility across Botswana. The role will involve creating compelling content, managing digital channels, and coordinating campaigns to engage stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational marketing and communication plans aligned with strategic goals.
• Design and produce materials for print, digital, web, social media and broadcast platforms.
• Create go‑to‑market messaging to ensure consistent brand positioning.
• Write, edit and proofread copy for campaigns, publications, presentations and social media.
• Conduct market research, analyse consumer insights and identify engagement opportunities.
• Coordinate events, activations and stakeholder engagements.
• Brief creative teams and external providers, ensuring timely delivery.
• Measure campaign performance, prepare reports and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing or communications.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality written content.
• Experience managing digital marketing and social media channels.
• Familiarity with marketing data analytics tools.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
