School Nurse

About the role

The School Nurse at Enko Botho International School will provide comprehensive health services to support student wellbeing and academic success. This full‑time position works closely with students, families, staff and external health providers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the school health services program and deliver direct nursing care.
• Provide health education to students, staff and parents, encouraging active participation in personal health.
• Support the social and emotional climate of the school, promoting a safe and engaging environment.
• Identify health and safety concerns within the physical school environment and recommend improvements.
• Offer health counselling, assess mental‑health needs and refer students to appropriate services.
• Engage families by connecting them with school staff, community healthcare providers and support services.
• Promote employee wellness through health education, counselling and healthy‑activity initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years professional nursing experience.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and ability to obtain police clearance for the past 10 years.
• Willingness to undergo reference checks.
