Unpaid Intern – Events, Community & Trainer Recruitment

About the role

You will join the GR8R movement as an unpaid intern, supporting the recruitment of certified fitness trainers and the coordination of community events across Botswana and Africa. The role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing wellness marketplace, blending outreach, onboarding and event activation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, contact and recruit certified fitness and wellness professionals to join the GR8R platform.
• Guide new trainers through profile creation and platform usage during onboarding.
• Plan, coordinate and execute fitness events and community activations.
• Handle event logistics, including scheduling, communications and participant follow‑up.
• Engage with the GR8R community both online and offline to boost participation.
• Collect feedback from trainers and users to improve onboarding and event experiences.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys talking to people.
• Interest in fitness, wellness or community development.
• Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable with outreach, follow‑ups and relationship building.
• Willingness to attend virtual check‑ins at least twice a week.
• Flexibility to support events that may take place on weekends.
