International FX Payments Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced International FX Payments Manager to lead our Cross‑Border Payments function within Operations. The role oversees the full lifecycle of inward and outward foreign‑exchange payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance and a client‑centric experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution and settlement of cross‑border FX payments, guaranteeing first‑time‑right processing.
• Manage ACI‑enabled processing environment, including monitoring, exception handling, escalation and resolution.
• Produce monthly performance, risk and control reports for senior stakeholders.
• Analyse trends, identify inefficiencies and drive sustainable process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions screening, STR reporting and internal policies.
• Maintain audit readiness and close audit findings promptly.
• Oversee SLAs and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team to deliver on strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cross‑border FX payments execution and settlement.
• ACI Operations Certification (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Minimum Trading Standards (Model Code).
• Proven expertise in SWIFT messaging and ISO 20022 standards.
• Solid understanding of AML, sanctions compliance and related regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a payments or FX operations environment.
