Product Presales Engineer

About the role

The Product Presales Engineer will act as the technical bridge between our product portfolio and the sales organization, ensuring customers receive accurate, compelling information about our video surveillance solutions. You will support product launches, trade shows, and strategic sales opportunities by creating technical content and delivering expert advice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and proof technical materials for new product launches.
• Represent managed products at industry trade shows and events.
• Provide strategic technical advice to the sales team, aligning customer requirements with solution capabilities.
• Create and maintain detailed technical overviews, specifications, and documentation for products and solutions.
• Test company and competitor camera features to craft powerful marketing messages that highlight product value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, sales support, sales engineering, or product marketing within the video surveillance industry.
• Proven ability to create visual materials and clear messaging.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Project management experience.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with high‑end CCTV equipment, including storage, transmission, intercom, and access‑control systems.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe video editing tools, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
