Director, Digital and Change Enablement

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Country Management Committee, the Director will provide enterprise‑wide leadership to reshape how the Bank operates, serves clients and creates sustainable value through digitalisation, automation and transformational change. The role is responsible for shaping and executing the Bank’s future‑state business and operating model, ensuring that digital and change investments deliver measurable client, commercial and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and embed a future‑state operating model that increases standardisation, automation, scalability and accountability.
• Lead the cash automation agenda, migrating manual cash processes to automated, digitally enabled solutions.
• Drive enterprise‑wide digital adoption, linking digital capabilities to client experience, engagement and commercial performance.
• Champion process digitisation and intelligent automation across high‑value end‑to‑end processes.
• Provide strategic direction on technology platforms, ensuring alignment with group capabilities and Botswana‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in digital transformation within banking or financial services.
• Track record of delivering enterprise‑wide change programmes, operating model redesign and measurable benefits realization.
