International FX Payments Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced FX Payments Manager to lead our Cross‑Border Payments function within Operations. You will own the end‑to‑end execution of inward and outward foreign‑exchange payment streams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while delivering a client‑centric experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution and settlement of cross‑border FX payments, guaranteeing first‑time‑right processing.
• Manage ACI‑enabled processing environment, overseeing monitoring, exception handling, escalation, and resolution.
• Produce monthly performance, risk, and service delivery reports.
• Analyse trends, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain audit readiness and close audit findings promptly.
• Manage SLAs and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cross‑border FX payments execution and settlement.
• ACI Operations Certification (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Minimum Trading Standards (Model Code).
• Proven expertise in SWIFT messaging and ISO 20022 standards.
• Solid understanding of AML, sanctions compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership experience in payments or FX operations.
