Branch Manager – Mining Equipment

About the role

The Branch Manager will report to the Territory Manager and be based in Maun. The role is responsible for managing regional operations, driving profitability, growing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control sales accounts, develop business plans per customer, and resolve account issues.
• Achieve regional sales targets, monitor expenditure, and ensure profitable product margins.
• Develop and execute a regional marketing strategy, including competitor analysis and market share assessment.
• Oversee branch budgeting, audit processes, store/warehouse control, and financial reporting.
• Recruit, coach, and evaluate sub‑ordinates, implement talent management and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and promote a strong EHS culture.
• Lead project planning, monitoring, and reporting in line with project management standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering; formal qualification in business, mining or engineering.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Mine Overseer certificate of competence (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Sandvik products and their applications (advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proven business development and sales experience with a track record of growth.
• Strong communication, initiative, and goal‑driven attitude.
