Buyer / Purchasing Agent – Electrical Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Buyer / Purchasing Agent to support field operations and project teams in the electrical construction sector. The role ensures timely procurement of materials and services while maintaining efficient Purchase‑to‑Pay processes within the COINS system.

Key responsibilities

• Process material and service requests and generate purchase orders (POs).
• Enter and reconcile goods receipts (GRNs) in COINS.
• Review, approve, and resolve invoice workflow issues.
• Track credit memos and monitor open POs for completeness.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and discrepancies.
• Collect and evaluate quotes for non‑standard materials.
• Assist with new vendor setup and maintain vendor records.
• Provide procurement system guidance and support to field teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Construction or electrical industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems, preferably COINS.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
