Chief Surveyor – Underground Mine Surveying (15 positions)

About the role

Experienced Chief Surveyors (15x) are required to oversee underground mine surveying operations, manage survey teams, and ensure accurate survey data to support safe and efficient mining activities in Botswana. The role involves overseeing all underground surveying activities, ensuring precise data collection, and supporting mine planning and safety compliance. Full‑time positions are available with a high priority to start in November.

Key responsibilities

• Lead underground surveying activities and survey teams.
• Ensure accurate survey control, mapping, and reporting.
• Maintain mine plans and survey records.
• Support mine planning and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of underground mine surveying experience.
• Survey team leadership experience.
• Proficient in total stations and mine survey software.
• Botswana Surveyor License advantageous.
