Commercial Chiller Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Chiller Service Technician to join our growing commercial HVAC service team. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing commercial chiller systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial chiller equipment to maximize performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, and control system issues.
• Install new commercial chiller systems, components, and related equipment.
• Conduct operational testing, inspections, and performance evaluations.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Complete detailed service reports and repair documentation after each call.
• Respond to scheduled service requests and emergency breakdowns promptly.
• Recommend repair or replacement solutions that improve system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Stay current with evolving HVAC technologies, manufacturer updates, and industry best practices.
• Follow OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies while working in the field.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial chiller service experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and chiller operation.
• Experience with major manufacturers such as York, Carrier, Trane, Daikin, and McQuay.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control systems.
