Distribution Supervisor – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to manage distribution performance and activities, overcoming delivery challenges while meeting customer requirements and ensuring optimal use of company resources. You will lead the department in implementing Distribution Process Optimization (DPO) and drive compliance with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of departmental DPO initiatives and review master data, process mapping and service level management.
• Develop and manage the annual departmental budget, controlling fixed and variable costs.
• Plan and monitor fleet utilisation, routing, and vehicle contingency plans to optimise cost and service.
• Manage 3PL contractors, drive performance improvements and ensure SLA compliance.
• Conduct bi‑annual customer service evaluations, analyse feedback and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the full beer return process, safety monitoring and critical behaviour enforcement.

• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal communication and self‑management abilities.
• Strong achievement orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience or knowledge of SAP 4HANA.
