Frontend Engineer 1

About the role

Cavista Technologies is seeking a Frontend Engineer to design, develop and maintain responsive, user‑focused web and dashboard interfaces for its digital products. The role emphasizes building scalable, secure, high‑performance front‑ends that integrate seamlessly with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX designs into reusable frontend components.
• Integrate applications with backend REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Optimize performance, cross‑browser compatibility and implement security best practices (input validation, XSS/CSRF protection).
• Troubleshoot UI issues, conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with QA, product and design teams.
• Implement authentication and authorization controls in partnership with backend teams.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and frontend technology decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience building frontend applications, preferably in fintech or other regulated environments.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Experience consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of web‑security practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP).
• Attention to UI/UX detail, performance and cross‑browser behavior.
• Familiarity with micro‑frontend architecture and component‑driven development.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based deployment environments.
