Junior Risk Finance Consultant – Gaborone

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Risk Finance Consultant to assist in assessing and analysing clients’ financial and operational risks while supporting the development and implementation of risk‑financing and insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and analyse clients’ financial and operational risk exposures.
• Support the design and rollout of risk‑financing and insurance solutions.
• Collect, analyse and interpret financial, operational and insurance data.
• Monitor client risk profiles, claims experience, loss ratios and other performance indicators.
• Research insurance markets, risk trends, industry developments and competitor offerings.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, financial institutions and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of relevant experience; industry or functional experience is a plus.
• Degree in Finance or Business (e.g., BCom Accounting) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Valid Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance is an advantage.
• Valid Botswana driver’s licence and own motor vehicle.
