Senior Smart Hands Network Engineer

About the Position

Join Sharp Brains as a Senior Smart Hands Network Engineer to play a critical role in our infrastructure deployment projects. You will be the essential on-site technical expert responsible for the physical installation, deployment, and validation of high-end network and power infrastructures across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities

• Execute the physical installation and deployment of Cisco Meraki switches and APC UPS units within rack environments.
• Conduct thorough site assessments and validate hardware integrity prior to installation.
• Ensure high-quality structured cabling, precise labeling, and strict compliance with industry installation standards.
• Support network cutover activities, including hands-on troubleshooting and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) validation.
• Manage the decommissioning of legacy hardware, ensuring secure removal and environmentally responsible disposal.
• Provide comprehensive documentation, including detailed installation reports, inventory logs, and photographic evidence of all completed works.

Candidate Profile

• Proven hands-on experience in network hardware installation and rack infrastructure management.
• Strong technical proficiency with Cisco Meraki systems and APC UPS solutions is highly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of structured cabling, labeling best practices, and on-site deployment standards.
• Excellent coordination skills to work effectively with remote engineering teams during critical cutover windows.
• High level of discipline in documentation and technical reporting.
• Availability to travel to various sites and support scheduled maintenance windows/downtime periods.
