About the role
We are seeking a Course Lecturer to teach CIVE 320 – Numerical Methods at McGill University. The position involves delivering the 39‑hour course over a semester, awarding four credits to students.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures for the Numerical Methods course (CIVE 320) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and guide students through problem‑solving sessions.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and provide feedback.
Required profile
- M.Eng. in Civil Engineering or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with at least five years of practical engineering experience.
- Active practice in the civil engineering field.
- Member of a Canadian professional engineering association.
