Freelance Tswana Transcriptionist (Remote)

About the role

Perle, an AI infrastructure company, is looking for a freelance transcriptionist fluent in Tswana to work remotely. You will convert two‑speaker, channel‑separated audio recordings into clean, accurate transcripts with speaker labels and timestamps.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to 2‑speaker Tswana audio files and type out every spoken word.
• Label each turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2, matching the audio channel.
• Insert timestamps at the start of each speaker turn (HH:MM:SS format).
• Deliver sequential, gap‑free transcripts that meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in spoken and written Tswana.
• Strong command of Tswana spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Ability to work independently and meet a minimum of 4 hours of daily output.
• Stable internet connection and a computer.
• Prior transcription experience is a plus, but all candidates must pass a qualification test.
