Monitoring, Evaluation & Inclusion Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation & Inclusion Consultant to support a donor‑funded digital skills and AI literacy programme for youth in Botswana. This short‑term, phased consultancy combines two critical functions: robust monitoring and evaluation and inclusive programme design.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement results frameworks and baseline data collection tools.
• Track enrolment, completion and dropout metrics and produce regular performance dashboards.
• Prepare evaluation reports and policy briefs for donors and stakeholders.
• Design strategies to reach and retain women, persons with disabilities, and rural youth.
• Provide guidance on accessibility and inclusive programme delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in both monitoring & evaluation and inclusion for donor‑funded, government or NGO programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on short‑term, results‑oriented contracts.
• Experience in Botswana or the broader SADC region is advantageous but not mandatory.
